FILMING IN UGANDA’S NATIONAL PARKS

Uganda Wildlife Authority manages all the National Parks and reserve areas in Uganda. Uganda has in total ten national parks with a multitude of wildlife including the Big five (Lion’s, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephants & Rhino’s).
Talking Film Production has serviced and facilitated several filming crews from across the globe that have filmed in some of Uganda’s National Parks and done this smoothly.

Uganda Wildlife Authority has set out guidelines for film crews that wish to film in the different National parks of Uganda and these have to be followed in order to get access and permission to carry out any filming and or photography. One of the guidelines is to sign a contract with Uganda Wildlife Authority.

Uganda Wildlife Authority filming fees are charged at 40% of activity (Inclusive of the monitoring fee of 10%) per day. Filming fees with a drone are charged at 50% of the activity. A refundable deposit of $1,000 shall be returned after the filming crew submits to UWA at least two DVD copies of the Program as broadcast as UWA shall use these DVDs for educational and non-profit making purposes only.
